It’s been a great start to the Academic year in Sport not surprisingly helped by the gorgeous weather that has held out.The typically wet cross country was instead treated to a warm summers evening. Competitors had to complete a lap of the whole field which is just over a mile long. The whole event was won by Pegasus House to add to the Sports Day trophy which was won in July.
Badminton club has seen the usual high numbers of participants and we are looking forward to the fixtures in November. Girls netball in KS3 has seen on average 45 girls turn out for training and this will pay dividends when the games start in November.
Finally at the time of writing, the year 7 rugby team are preparing to go to the Churchdown 10’s tournament. We hope they have a fantastic day and the sunny weather can hold on a little longer!
