On Friday the 7th October 75 students came to Gloucester Academy to visit the Art Department among other subjects to experience higher level techniques that are on offer. Their behaviour was immaculate and within 1 hour they had all completed a 2/3 colour Mono-print based of Mayan Masks, which linked to their prior learning at Primary School.
It was a fabulous day and all involved had a great time, especially the year 10 students who helped out; Britta, Shahid, Elisabeth and Mehraj.
It is always a pleasure to have such bright, happy and hardworking primary school children come in and be so creative and focused. Our year 10’s jumped at the chance to help and did themselves credit. Another great day at Gloucester Academy!
