Reopening FAQs for Parents

On 10th May, the government announced that schools were to reopen to children in reception, year 1, year 6, year 10, and year 12 on 1st June, providing that there was no rise in the 'R' rate (reproduction rate) as a result of other measures of easing the lockdown.

Understandably, a lot of parents and carers have questions and concerns about their child returning to school on 1st June. In this section, we have answered a number of frequently asked questions to address those queries and reassure you that we are doing everything possible to keep all our young people, their families, and our staff safe.

The questions have been divided into five subsections, which can be found in the sidebar.
