The White Horse Federation has appointed a new regional director — Christopher Belli. In his new role as the regional director for Gloucester, Berkshire, and Oxfordshire, Mr Belli is responsible for the schools in those areas, including Gloucester Academy.
Mr Belli has worked in education for 19 years, and was most recently the headteacher of Churchdown School Academy in Gloucester. During his five-year tenure, Mr Belli led rapid improvement across all areas of the school and received high praise from Ofsted.
With extensive experience of education in the Gloucester area and a proven record as a successful leader and educator, Mr Belli was the perfect candidate for the role.
Upon being appointed, Christopher Belli said: “I’m excited to join such a large and thriving multi-academy trust. It’s absolutely clear to me that The White Horse Federation places students at the centre of everything it does. The children’s best interests are the key motivation and driver behind my work. I am determined to ensure that everyone I lead and support provides the best possible education for their students.”
As our regional director, Mr Belli will support our school and guide us on how to further enhance our academic and extracurricular provisions.
Dr Nicholas Capstick, CEO of The White Horse Federation, is delighted to have added someone as experienced as Mr Belli to the federation’s team of regional directors.
Dr Capstick said: “I couldn’t be happier that Christopher is joining the federation. His wealth of knowledge and experience make him a great addition to our team of regional directors. Their combined expertise will further strengthen the quality of support we give to our schools and increase opportunities for us to really enhance the life chances of every pupil and student within the trust.”
Everyone at Gloucester Academy is excited to start working with Christopher and continue improving outcomes for the pupils and staff at our school. Welcome to GA, Christopher!
